Practical applications from the Word of God

It’s Me, Suzy.

Indeed, it is humbling to share with you my faith journey. It  started two and a half decades ago when I was 36 years old. I would write my thoughts, prayers, and Scripture verses on index cards to carry with me. I would read them out loud, speak the verses to myself, and eventually, memorizing certain verses became a spiritual habit for me.

So, this I say to you, my beloved:
“Convinced of this, I know that I will remain, and I will continue with all of you for your progress and joy in the faith…” Philippians 1:25.

All I ask is for your heart and mind to be connected first of all to God through Christ Jesus, who will do the transforming of those two places.

This particular verse that my eyes laid on some twenty years ago has been my life verse. To this day, I recite it whenever my heart and mind don’t agree:
“Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.” Psalms 139:23-24.

Because of all the transformation that He continues doing in my life, I have compiled spiritual habits that will help you grow in steadfast love for Him.
